The Czech Metallurgical Society is an association that is an independent, non-political organization bringing together individuals and organizations from the area of metallurgy and related fields. The mission of the association is the implementation of educational activities for faster development and introduction of new technologies and products, increasing quality, reducing costs, protecting the working and environmental environment, increasing the knowledge potential of employees and promoting all companies doing business in the field of metallurgy.

The goal of the association is to increase the professional level and education of all members in the form of passing on information about technological innovations, during the development and implementation of new technologies and product innovations. The Czech Metallurgical Society also participates in the development of inventive and innovative activities of its members and supports the presentation of the results of innovators at international exhibitions of inventions, patents and technical innovations in the world.

The Czech Metallurgical Society is member of the Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies (www.csvts.cz) and the International Society of Steel Institutes (www.issisteel.org).
